Goats are coming to a bar right in the bleating heart of Del Ray this afternoon.
Gustave Boulangerie Garden (2213 Mount Vernon Avenue) is hosting a Goat Social Hour from 5:30-6:30 p.m. today (Monday).
“Enjoy social hour with the sweet herd from Walnut Creek Farm at the Gustave Boulangerie Garden in Alexandria,” the event listing said. “Meet and mingle with the herd in the outside garden at Gustave Boulangerie in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria.”
The listing specified the event is not “goat yoga” but a chance to hang out with goats, give them snacks, and take photos.
Tickets are $40 and one drink is included with the price. Additional drinks can be bought separately.
Dogs and children under 10 years of age are not allowed at the event.
“Dr. Maureen, the veterinarian owner of Walnut Creek Farm will be there to attend to the herd and answer your questions,” the listing said.
