Braddock neighborhood bar and speakeasy Captain Gregory’s (804 N. Henry Street) is making a new menu and tattoo designs in partnership with a local tattoo shop.
The bar is partnering with nearby Madison Street Tattoo (1012 Madison Street) for a new crossover menu with cocktails inspired by tattoos and flash tattoos inspired by cocktails.
“Captain Gregory‘s (804 N Henry Street) and Madison Street Tattoo (1012 Madison Street) have paired up for a uniquely Alexandrian menu,” Brandon McDermott, director of operations/beverages at Captain Gregory’s & RailBird said in a release. “CG provided MST with 5 cocktail names to create tattoos for and MST provided 6 original flash tattoos to inspire our beverage team. That helped create a unique nautically charged menu of 11 cocktails paired to custom one of a kind flash tattoos that are available at MST (prices vary by artwork and size).”
McDermott said Captain Gregory’s will be transforming to “capture the vibe” of Madison Street Tattoo with flash tattoo sheets on the walls and fun touches like the menu presented in a tattoo shop-style binder.
McDermott said the new menu will drop on Tuesday, Aug. 6, and will run through the end of September.
