The Alexandria Police Department (APD) is conducting a death investigation at the Inova Alexandria Hospital (4320 Seminary Road) after a man was found dead from a gunshot wound in the hospital parking lot.
Scanner indicated there were reports of a black Mercedes dropping the victim off around 2 a.m. The man was found with a gunshot wound in the visitor’s parking lot around 3 a.m.
According to APD:
Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle, which is believed to be involved. The vehicle is a 2008, dark gray, 4-door, Mercedes Benz C class. The Virginia tag on the vehicle is RX22K. If the vehicle is seen, please call 9-11 and notify your local police department.
