Monumental Sports and Entertainment posted, and then deleted, claims on social media that turned out to be untrue, WUSA9 reported.

A page called Monumental Opportunity shared the following message on social media:

You’ll see that this project has by far the highest percentage of private funding, the lowest amount of upfront state cash, and of course, this is the first time that any locality has had the chance to bring in two major league franchises at one time. #MonumentalOpportunity

However, WUSA9 did some fact-checking and found that 2/3 of the claims in that post are untrue.

WUSA9 noted that Stan Kroenke, owner of the Los Angeles Rams, paid all of the $5 billion in construction costs of SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, with a tax incentive to offset the cost of infrastructure improvements if the stadium generates more than $25 million in a given year.

WUSA9 also found four other stadiums that were constructed recently without the use of public funds.

The news station also noted that not only would the Potomac Yard arena not be the first time two teams came to a new city — the SoFi Stadium drew in both the Saint Louis Rams and the San Diego Chargers — but it isn’t even the first time the Capitals and Wizards have moved to a new arena in a new city together. Both teams played in Landover, Maryland, before Capital One Arena opened in 1997, WUSA9 reported.

The post has since been taken down.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
