Notes: Deadline nears to nominate business for Heart of Del Ray award

Tomorrow is the last day to nominate a local business for the Heart of Del Ray award, an annual recognition of the businesses that best serve the “heart and soul of Del Ray,” according to the nomination form.

The annual award is presented by the Del Ray Business Association.

Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31. The form is available online.

On Friday, Feb. 2, the five finalists will be announced and voting will open to the community until Feb. 7.

A business can only win the award once. Past winners include:

  • 2012: The Neighborhood Pharmacy of Del Ray
