While city officials say the decision to build an arena in Potomac Yard is not final, Alexandria Living Magazine reported that a city-funded organization has hired lobbyists to support the project in Richmond.
The Alexandria Economic Development Partnership, which receives city funding, has hired Two Capitols Consulting for “all matters concerning the development of the Monumental sports and entertainment district in Alexandria, VA.”
The consultants will be working on members of the General Assembly in Richmond at a time when many state leaders say they are undecided on the arena.
