Notes: Membership based veterinary office opening in Old Town next year

Strong northwest winds, 23-29 mph, may gust up to 46 mph. There’s a 60% chance of precipitation and potential for a tenth to a quarter-inch. A subscription-based vet service called Small Door Veterinary is opening in Old Town at 277 S. Washington Street sometime next year, Alexandria Living Magazine reported.

Small Door members pay $169 annually per pet for membership, with benefits including a free annual exam, 24/7 telehealth, and priority appointments.

Beyond that, the service also provides surgical procedures, spaying and neutering, and other pet health services.

Small Door has locations in New York, Boston, and around D.C., with a location opening soon in McLean.
