Alexandria resident Glenn D’Amore is now president of Silver Brands, the parent company of Silver Diner, Zebra reported.

D’Amore, who previously served as Chief Operation Officer, has been with the company since he started as a manager in 1997. Zebra wrote that D’Amore oversaw a push within Silver Brands to switch to “fresh and local” sourcing.

A small bio at the Washington Business Journal says D’Amore will continue to oversee the portfolio’s expansion with two new Silver Diners opening this year and next. Alexandria’s Silver Diner opened in the West End at 4630 King Street back in 2020.
