After nearly 20 years of vacancy, developer Stonebridge has opted on making Alexandria’s Victory Center into a residential tower, the Washington Business Journal first reported.

Long envisioned as a potential home for a federal agency or office tenant, the fate of the 1970s-era Victory Center has adapted yet again to slow office market conditions. Stonebridge bought the property in 2019 and it was only as recently as last summer that the developer released plans to demolish the existing structure and replace it with townhouses.

Now with a recently submitted developmental special use permit, Stonebridge’s plan is to turn the building into a residential tower with a second multifamily tower and townhomes located on an adjacent parking lots, according to the Washington Business Journal.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
