Drivers took over a Seminary Road intersection early Saturday morning until police scattered the crowd, WUSA9 reported.
Video footage shared with WUSA9 shows drivers spinning out and racing at the Seminary Road Beauregard Street intersection around 1 a.m. on Saturday (Oct. 21) morning.
The intersection sits between several residential buildings, including Southern Towers and The Blake, and across from the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center.
A nearby resident told the news station that it’s a regular occurrence for Seminary Road residents and that the sounds are a regular nuisance for the neighborhood.
Seminary Road residents have been up in arms over issues with drivers: another resident said three cars have crashed into his home on Seminary Road this year alone.
