An Alexandrian pointed out on Twitter something that was news to many in the area: any adult with an Alexandria library card can check out a Virginia State Park Pass.
According to the library website, any adult with a library card can visit the Beatley Central Library (5005 Duke Street) to check out a park pass if one is available. Passes can also be placed on hold and transferred to other branches.
