A woman was assaulted while walking home in the Presidential Greens Apartment complex in Arlandria on Sunday night, October 11.
The victim was walking home when she was approached by a man who tried to grab her, but she got away and called her cousin on the phone and ran to a nearby business where he works on Mount Vernon Avenue. She was transported to the hospital and was released without injuries, according to her cousin.
The incident occurred at around 11 p.m.
Police searched the area with a K-9 officer and no suspect was arrested.
