The ribbon was cut at a new high-end senior living community today (Wednesday) in Alexandria’s Potomac Yard neighborhood.
The Riviera, a new 129-unit senior apartment building at 2700 Main Line Blvd, is located directly across the street from its sister community, The Landing, which opened in 2022. Both properties are owned by Texas-based Silverstone Senior Living.
Residents at The Landing, a senior living community at 2620 Main Line Blvd. in Alexandria, recently came together for a good cause.
Residents and families organized a toiletry drive to help the Alexandria Domestic Violence Program. The drive wrapped up last week and saw participation from all corners of the community. Residents from Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care units pitched in to gather essential hygiene items for individuals and families facing crisis situations.
