Revolutionary Fitness in Old Town has announced a new specialized strength training program designed specifically for people using GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro.

These medications have helped millions of people lose weight. However, most people are unaware that up to 30–40% of that weight can come from muscle loss if proper strength training is not in place.

Many adults over 45 notice the same pattern. Strength declines. Joints feel stiffer. Energy drops. Activities that used to feel easy start to require more effort.

Revolutionary Fitness in Alexandria is now enrolling a limited number of participants in its 12-Week Strength & Longevity Reset, a structured training program designed specifically for adults who want to stay strong, capable, and independent as they age.

“I love that The Village School preserves childhood through play,” says Avani Cheriathandum, a parent of two students at the school. “In an area so focused on achievement, it’s refreshing to find a school that recognizes the unique and critical role of play in a child’s development.”

At The Village School, we believe that play is not just a break from learning, but an essential part of it. While many schools have been cutting back on playtime in favor of more academic instruction and structured activities, we’ve taken a different approach. All of our learners (in PreK-8) enjoy an average of 2 hours of daily playtime – and the results speak for themselves.
