Welcome to Café du Soleil. We opened our doors on March 21, 2020. Cafe du Soleil began as an aspiration to source, produce, and share distinctive, quality-focused coffees and gourmet food. Soleil means Sun in French and as such we strive to be a bright spot in every customers day.

We are a small, independent, veteran and family owned coffee shop hidden within the heart of old town Alexandria. We love coffee and everything that comes with it and especially the connection it creates with people and our neighbors.

We come to you or you can come to us. We sell, rent and repair all kinds of durable Medical Equipment. We specialize in steam cleaning your equipment, making it look brand new.

We are an Alexandria residential construction company that has had to move our work outside.

Understandably our clients can’t have us in their homes now doing renovations so we are looking for exterior work such as painting, trim replacement, decks or drainage installation. Licensed and Insured Class A Contractor.

My husband, Ram, and I know some of you as neighbors, as fellow parents of ACPS kids, and as Alexandria youth rugby enthusiasts. You might also know us from our pie business, Kiwi Kuisine, at the Old Town Farmers Market and the West End Farmers Market.

Our bakery and pie shop on Eisenhower Avenue have been significantly affected by the shutdown of cafes, coffee shops and breweries. To help keep us moving forward, we are offering free local delivery of our pies to Alexandria addresses on any order over $40. They arrive frozen and ready to be warmed or thawed. We make both meal and sweet pies so we have something for just about everyone.
