Meet Brutus, a people-loving companion who would never betray you.
This 1-year-and-7-month-old dog loves to stay active and is treat-motivated to learn new tricks, according to an AWLA volunteer. He loves playing fetch, although he is not always inclined to bring the ball back. Brutus would also enjoy accompanying you on walks or hikes.
“As long as he is with his person, Brutus is a happy dog,” the AWLA volunteer told ALXnow. “If you pick Brutus, he is guaranteed to give you unconditional love and endless doggie kisses.”
Brutus has a shiny black coat and weighs 54 pounds. He more of a people dog, so he would do better in a house with no other dogs. A donor has covered adoption fees for Brutus.
Brutus can be visited during the shelter’s regular adoption hours:
- Noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
- Noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
