Meet Arturo, a 2-year-old dog who would love a family that can keep up with his energetic nature.
Arturo is a young dog who has started his training but has much more potential to learn tricks through the motivation of treats. He would enjoy activities like a treat puzzle, chasing balls, and going on a run or hike, an Animal Welfare League of Alexandria volunteer told ALXnow.
“Arturo would do well in a variety of homes,” the volunteer said. “If you have an active lifestyle and are looking for a buddy to go on life’s many adventures with, Arturo could be your guy!”
This pup weighs 39 pounds and has a soft black and tan coat. Plus, the volunteer says, “he has an adorable little face that, quite frankly, is hard to resist.”
Arturo can be visited during the shelter’s regular adoption hours:
- Noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- Noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
