Campagna Center raises more than $250,000 at 80th Anniversary Gala

The Campagna Center’s 80th Anniversary Gala, “Lighting the Way,” was a resounding success on May 9. Held at the picturesque River Farm estate, the event attracted more than 240 attendees and raised over $250,000.

The evening featured a cocktail hour, catered dinner, live music, spirited live auction, silent auction, and heartfelt remarks from Stephanie Wiggins, Chair of Campagna’s Board of Directors, and Dr. Tammy L. Mann, who concluded her 13-year tenure as President & CEO. The event raised over $250,000 in donations and pledges—an incredible show of support for the organization and its work.

The nonprofit focuses on early childhood education, after-school programs, and college and career guidance. In the past year, it has helped 2,493 individuals, mostly from families earning between 100-200% of the federal poverty level.

The gala featured all the trimmings of a high-profile event: a cocktail hour, catered dinner, live music, and both live and silent auctions.

The funds raised will directly support year-round educational and support programs that benefit over 2,000 Alexandria residents each year.
