Towngate North blends convenience, access and timeless Old Town style

Urban condominium living is all about having the best of everything, all-in-one ideal location.

Towngate North is set to deliver on every aspect — bringing style and lifestyle together in one new condominium community in the heart of Old Town North Alexandria. Composed of 81 new condominiums, Towngate North is ideally located at the intersection of Slaters Lane and the George Washington Memorial Parkway, providing easy access to the heart of Old Town and Washington, D.C.

Whether owners choose a 1-, 2- or 3-bedroom condominium — with prices from the $400s to $1.6M — they’ll have access to exceptional amenities, including a fitness room for energizing workouts, a dog spa to pamper the pups and a rooftop terrace to unwind with gorgeous Old Town views.

“When we designed Towngate North, we wanted it to be a place that makes life easy and convenient for our owners,” said Gregg Hughes, Senior Vice President of Brookfield Residential. “It’s more than just a new condominium. It’s a modern urban lifestyle in one central location.”

There’s a concierge to cater to your needs, a clubroom for hosting gatherings, conference space for business and storage area to stow your bicycle when you’re not out exploring.
And there is much to explore.

Owners will be moments from George Washington Memorial Park and the Mount Vernon Trail, where they can cruise into the heart of Old Town for dinner, shopping or a show. Or they can hop in the car and take the George Washington Memorial Parkway into downtown D.C.

Of course, they will always be happy to return home to a condominium that blends innovative design, modern style and the comforting warmth of home. Each floor plan is defined by flowing open spaces and abundant natural light.

Pre-sales are set to begin in early 2022, with the first residences available by next fall.

“I would encourage interested home shoppers to be ready to claim their residence early,” Hughes emphasized. “We have only 81 residences here, and this is an opportunity that doesn’t come around often.”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
