Adoptable Pet of the Week: Ginger seeks a quiet home to fit her gentle nature

Meet Ginger, a young dog looking for a calm environment to make her home.

This petite pup has a gentle spirit and has plenty of love to give once she warms up to you. An AWLA volunteer told ALXnow she needs a family with a bit of patience and would like to avoid loud, chaotic settings.

Ginger is just over 1 year old and weighs 18 pounds. She is currently in a foster home awaiting her forever family.

“Ginger may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, you’ll have a sweet companion by your side!” the AWLA volunteer said.

Ginger can be visited during the shelter’s regular adoption hours:

  • Noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (closed Monday, May 25)
  • Noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
