Meet Hannah, a dog who will keep you entertained with her young energy.
The 1-year-old pup is an easygoing companion that meets everyone with enthusiastic tail wags. She is active and would love to tag along on walks to show off her good leash manners, an Animal Welfare League of Alexandria volunteer told ALXnow.
“She would make a great walking or running buddy!” the volunteer said. “If you like going on outdoor adventures, Hannah will be right there by your side. She loves playing with her little toys, especially if they squeak!”
As a young dog, Hannah could use some additional training, but she is quick to pick up training and is motivated by treats.
Hannah has a sleek black coat with a white streak and weighs 39 pounds. Her adoption fees have been covered by a donor.
Hannah can be visited during the shelter’s regular adoption hours:
- Noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- Noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
