Gov. Glenn Youngkin announced new administration and board appointments on Friday, which include two Alexandria residents.
Brandy Schantz of Alexandria, CEO of Schantz Business Consulting, was appointed to the State Rehabilitation Advisory Council. Robert Luther III of Old Town, founder of Constitutional Solutions PLLC, was named to the Board of Visitors to Mount Vernon.
The appointments were part of 25 new positions announced by the governor’s office.
The State Rehabilitation Advisory Council advises the governor and General Assembly on services for people with disabilities. The Board of Visitors to Mount Vernon reviews the operation of Mount Vernon and reports findings to the governor.
Schantz’s term runs through Sept. 30, 2028. Luther’s term runs through June 30, 2029.
The appointments take effect immediately.
