A new farmers market opens Thursday, Sept. 25, across from the King St.-Old Town Metro station.

The King Street Station Farmers Market will be held every Thursday from Sept. 25 to Oct. 30 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the King Street Station Office Plaza at 1800 Diagonal Road. The market is free to attend and sponsored by the King Street Station Association.

Organizers are seeking vendors, buskers, community partners, and sponsors.

“Beyond offering fresh produce and local goods, we are actively seeking to build our community of participants,” the association said in an email. “We are currently accepting applications for local vendors, musicians (buskers), and community partners who want to be part of this exciting new venture.’
