Two Men and a Truck Alexandria is collecting prom dresses for free fall giveaway

With the dress, shoes, hair, makeup, and transportation, prom can become quite expensive.

That’s why, all summer long, local movers Two Men and a Truck Alexandria are collecting gently used accessories at drop-off points around the city. On Sept. 14 (Sunday), the company is hosting a free prom dress and accessories giveaway at their warehouse at 5910 Farrington Avenue.

“It’s all about helping teens and young adults feel confident at their formal events like prom and homecoming or weddings by offering them these gently-used dresses for free,” Kayla Glicker, the company’s sales and marketing manager, told ALXnow.

Dresses can be dropped off at Salon deZEN (118 N. Fayette Street), Artistic Artifacts (4750 Eisenhower Avenue), Orangetheory Fitness (3624 King Street), and Smitten Boutique Salon in Arlington.
