Weather permitting, the Shirlington Circle ramp to the northbound I-395 general purpose lanes (I-395 North to Washington) will have nighttime closures Thursday night, June 5, and Sunday night, June 8, for paving, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
The ramp closures will occur as follows:
- 11 p.m. Thursday, June 5, to 4 a.m. Friday, June 6.
- 11 p.m. Sunday, June 8, to 4 a.m. Monday, June 9.
Traffic will be detoured via Shirlington Circle, Shirlington Road, 24th Road South, and South Glebe Road (Route 120) back to the northbound I-395 general purpose lanes.
VDOT asks drivers to follow posted detour signs.
