HRP Group sets virtual meeting for Potomac River Generating Station redevelopment

HRP Group is hosting its 18th virtual community meeting on June 9, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the redevelopment of the Potomac River Generating Station (PRGS) property.

The meeting will cover plans for residential buildings on Blocks A, B, and C, as well as publicly accessible open spaces.

“During the community meeting, participants will have the chance to provide feedback and ask questions in real time through a live Q&A session”, HRP Group shares in a meeting invite.

This virtual meeting comes before HRP’s next Development Special Use Permit (DSUP) submissions. The team recently updated Alexandria advisory committees on the project in May.

To join the meeting, interested residents can register using a QR code or link provided by HRP. They can also send questions and comments ahead of time to [email protected].

After the community meeting, several city committees will review the project:

– Urban Design Advisory Committee: June 11 at 9 a.m.
– Alexandria Waterfront Commission: June 17 at 7:30 a.m.
– Alexandria Parks & Recreation Commission: June 26 at 7 p.m.
