Alexandria to host open house for four West End infrastructure projects

Alexandria is hosting an Open House on June 11 to share design details for four infrastructure projects near Sanger Avenue and North Beauregard Street in the city’s west end.

The event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at William Ramsay Recreation Center (5650 Sanger Avenue). Residents can drop by to learn about construction plans, work schedules, parking changes, and trail detours for projects starting this summer.

City staff and contractors will be available to discuss:

Holmes Run Trail – Dora Kelley Fair Weather Crossing Replacement
North Beauregard Street Over Holmes Run Culvert Repairs
Sanger Avenue Safety Improvements
William Ramsay Safe Routes to Schools projects

The city encourages residents to stop by anytime during the two-hour window to chat with project team members and get their questions answered. This flexible format enables community members to attend at their convenience.
