Check out these donut deals in Alexandria for National Donut Day

Everything is coming full circle, because National Donut Day is returning next month, and there are a number of deals to be had at donut shops in Alexandria.

The day, which occurs on the first Friday of June (June 6), celebrates the history of the dessert, dating back to World War I.

Here are the shops where you can find deals in Alexandria on National Donut Day:

Dunkin’ is offering a free donut with purchase of a beverage at their locations at 2415 Eisenhower Avenue and 3325 Richmond Highway.

Duck Donuts (3610-F King Street in the Bradlee Shopping Center) is giving away free single cinnamon donuts and selling six for $6.

Just Fine Donuts (2310 Mount Vernon Avenue) will update customers with their plans on Instagram, according to staff.

Krispy Kreme Donuts (6332 Richmond Highway), just outside Alexandria, is also offering a free donut of any flavor to customers.
