Meet your new best friend, Honey – this week’s adoptable dog of the week!
Honey, a two-year-old female mixed-breed, is available for adoption at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA).
“Looking to sweeten up your life with a loyal companion? My name is Honey, and I just might be the perfect addition to your family! I’m a gorgeous golden tan adult dog with a heart as warm as my coat,” the AWLA shares on its website. “I’ve outgrown the wild puppy phase, but still have plenty of energy for walks, playtime, and all the snuggles you can handle”.
AWLA continues, “I’m the kind of dog who’s just as happy hiking a trail as I am curling up next to you on the couch after a long day. Because I’m an adult, I already have some of that training stuff down—but I’m always ready to learn more, especially if treats are involved! I’m looking for someone who wants a faithful best friend, whether that means daily neighborhood strolls or weekend road trips”.
