The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its annual CareerCon, a free event designed to help high school and college students explore career options and get valuable tips on college applications, resume writing, and scholarships.

Beyond career exploration, students can get advice on college applications, resume writing, and scholarship opportunities. The Scholarship Fund of Alexandria will be on hand to provide guidance on financial aid for college.

Students who stick around for the whole program get a shot at winning scholarship money. Four lucky attendees will split a total of $4,000 in scholarship funds.

“We’ll be picking four students to win scholarship money right there during the event,” Patish adds.
