Ford’s Garage, a vintage car-themed restaurant chain, is looking to open a location in Alexandria

Ford’s Garage, a burger and craft beer restaurant chain with a Ford Motor Company theme, is expanding in Virginia. Today (April 15), the company announced plans to open a new location in Alexandria.

The Tampa-based franchise has struck a deal with FG Nova to launch three new restaurants in Northern Virginia. Alexandria, Fairfax, and Woodbridge are on the list.

“This deal with franchisee FG Nova, will bring three new restaurants to the Northern part of the state. The group is specifically looking at locations in Alexandria, Fairfax and Woodbridge, as they work to introduce new communities to the Ford’s Garage difference,” a press release sent on behalf of Ford’s Garage states.

This expansion builds on Ford’s Garage’s current presence in Virginia, where it already runs a restaurant in Richmond.

“We are thrilled to be working with my business partners to bring Ford’s Garage to Northern Virginia and introduce this one-of-a-kind dining experience to the community,” said Sunil Bastola. “With its high-quality food, immersive automotive theme, and strong brand appeal, it’s a perfect fit for the area. We look forward to building strong connections with local guests and creating a go-to destination for families, car enthusiasts, and food lovers alike.”

Ford’s Garage features cars hanging from the ceiling and other old-school automotive touches. The menu includes burgers, wings, a tower of onion rings, and other comfort foods and desserts.

“We’re thrilled to announce our plans for these new locations in Virginia,” said Billy Downs, President of Ford’s Garage. “We’ve received an incredibly warm welcome from the Richmond community at our current location and are thrilled to expand our reach further in the state. The FG Nova franchisee’s commitment to excellence aligns perfectly with our brand values and we’re confident they’re the perfect group of franchisees to lead our growth efforts in Virginia.”

Ford’s Garage is the only restaurant brand with an official Ford licensing agreement, allowing it to use the company’s logo and branding. The company is focusing its expansion plans on areas east of the Mississippi. Since its start in Fort Myers, Florida, in 2012, Ford’s Garage has 30 locations across eight states.

The location and opening date for the Alexandria location haven’t been announced yet.
