Get ready for another season of pizza and drinks by the river.
As first reported by our sister publication, ARLnow, Catboat Pizza Bar will return to the Washington Sailing Marina (1 Marina Drive) in Alexandria next month.
Starting April 10, the popular outdoor spot will return to serve up fresh pizza, drinks, and lawn games with a side of scenic Potomac River views.
Update (April 7): A spokesperson for Catboat Pizza Bar notified us today that their second-season reopening “has been postponed to next weekend, aiming for Thursday, April 17th.”
Catboat has upped its indoor game, now accommodating about 50 people. This is in addition to the patio, picnic benches, and sprawling lawn area they already had. Open Thursday through Sunday until October, Catboat is banking on good weather and those waterfront vibes to draw crowds.
