The Alexandria Police Department (APD) said it is investigating the fatal shooting of a man inside the Southern Towers apartment complex.
Police said the man was found with an apparent gunshot wound but the cause of death remains under investigation.
According to APD:
Today, at approximately 11:15 a.m. Alexandria Police responded to the 5000 block of Seminary for the report of a man found unresponsive. Police located an adult male deceased inside an apartment with an apparent gunshot wound.
