The La Madeleine at 500 King Street in Old Town is temporarily closed, but signs in the window say it will reopen next month.
The coffee shop, next to the Alexandria Circuit Court and directly adjacent to a Starbucks, has signs in the window saying the shop will reopen on March 16.
La Madeleine offers most of the usual coffee shop items with a particular focus on baked goods and French cuisine.
Workers at another La Madeleine shop nearby said the Alexandria location was closed for renovations inside the building.
