Alexandria Living Magazine reported that two local businesses were featured on an episode of Netflix reality dating show Love is Blind this week.
This season of the show is set in Washington D.C. In episode 10, The Text From an Ex, couple Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans take a private calligraphy class taught by Michele Hatty Fritz of Del Ray’s Meant To Be Calligraphy at Old Town paper shop Penny Post (1201 King Street).
In the shop, Krause shares a story about her grandparents’ love letters, which inspired the pair to have a letter-writing station at their wedding. The pair also practice calligraphy together while Josemans somewhat mentions that his mother might not be attending the wedding.
