PHOTOS: Check out these Spooktacular Halloween displays in Del Ray

The only reason Del Ray residents don’t have skeletons in their closets is because they’ve been moved to front yards.

At least temporarily.

In the meantime, Oct. 20 (Sunday) is the deadline to nominate the 2024 Del Ray Halloween: Best Decorated House. The winners will be announced at the Del Ray Halloween Parade on Oct. 27 (also Sunday).

According to Visit Del Ray:

For over 30 years, local residents and businesses have gone all out decorating for Halloween, competing for bragging rights for best decorated house and business.  NEW THIS YEAR: special awards category — Best Use of a Small Space. Click here to nominate a house (you can nominate your own!) — the deadline for nominations is SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20.  Thank you to The Jen Walker Team for sponsoring this favorite tradition!
