The Alexandria Health Department is offering 500 free flu shots later this month.
The health department is offering the shots on Saturday, Oct. 26, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Minnie Howard Campus (3801 W. Braddock Road).
No ID or appointment is required, though attendees can speed up the visit by entering patient information in advance.
The Health Department said no Covid or high-dose flus shots will be available.
“Fall is here, and so is respiratory illness season,” the city’s website said. “Risk less by practicing healthy habits and getting this season’s vaccines, so you can do more!”
