TD Bank has filed a special use permit to open at the former SunTrust branch at 515 King Street.
The Washington Business Journal reported the move from its 119 S. Washington Street location earlier this year.
Now, the bank is taking its relocation plans to the Planning Commission on Dec. 3. Staff at another bank said the plan is to open the new TD Bank on King Street sometime next summer.
The new location will be a full bank and have an ATM on site, with an estimated 3,600 monthly transactions at the ATM. The bank will share the building with Tatte Bakery & Cafe.
