Debate night has arrived.
The presidential debate between Vice President Kamalah Harris and former President Donald Trump is tonight, and we’ve found a number of Alexandria local businesses that will be viewing the event on televisions behind the bar.
A number of restaurants and bars in Alexandria have no-politics policies, and consequently the debate will not be shown. While the Alexandria Democratic Committee is hosting a private watch party at a home of two of its members, there are no formally organized events around the city.
The debate starts at 9 p.m. on ABC. The following establishments will be showing it on their televisions:
- The Light Horse Restaurant and Bar (715 King Street)
- 1799 Prime Steak & Seafood (110 S. Pitt Street)
- Bugsy’s Pizza Restaurant and Sports Bar (111 King Street)
- Fish Market (105 King Street)
- T.J. Stones (608 Montgomery Street)
- Alexandria Bier Garden (710 King Street)
- Northside 10 (10 E. Glebe Road)
- Blackwall Hitch (5 Cameron Street)
- Pork Barrel BBQ (2312 Mount Vernon Avenue)
