There’s significant backup along I-395 as workers clean up after a crash that flipped a car upside down.

“On I-395 at mile marker 2.3 in the County of Fairfax, motorists can expect delays due to a multi-vehicle crash,” the Virginia Department of Transportation said around 6:30 p.m. “The north right lane and exit 3A are closed.”

Another vehicle is disabled just a little ways north near the Seminary Road exit, compounding traffic problems on I-395.

Cameras along the route showed traffic backed up for several miles south of the incident.
