Salon Kate & Spa, one of the businesses making an exodus from the soon-to-close Montgomery Center, has managed to find a new location not too far away.
The salon, owned by beauty stylist Kate Walters, opened in the Montgomery Center six years ago. The salon will reopen at 1064 N. Fayette Street — near the Yates Car Wash, McDonalds, and soon the Continues arcade bar — with a grand re-opening party on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 1-3 p.m.
The party will feature hors d’oeuvres, gift bags, and a raffle for free spa services.
“Ms. Kate has had the pleasure of hosting clients in the Montgomery Center for the last six years and is thrilled to now welcome you to her new location at 1064 N Fayette St, in Alexandria, Virginia,” The spa said in a release. “Salon Kate & Spa offers clients an extensive range of beauty services for hair, nails and more – all conveniently under one roof. Kate and her team believe everyone deserves to be pampered and are devoted to your health, wellness and beauty.”
