Former Commanders owner Dan Snyder has put his Mount Vernon mansion up for sale at an astonishing $60 million asking price.

The home is an eight-bedroom, nine-and-a-half-bath mansion at 7979 E Boulevard Drive with 16,000 square feet and a 16.5-acre lot. The home has an Alexandria address, but is solidly in not-Alexandria — also known as Fairfax County.

Northern Virginia Magazine said Snyder bought the property for $48 million in 2021. The home, called River View, is situated on part of the original Mount Vernon estate along the Potomac River.

The home features a seven-car garage, a commercial chef’s kitchen, and a 15-seat movie theater.
