One Alexandria woman is competing for the love of a senior widower on a new dating show: The Golden Bachelor.
Nancy Hulkhower, 60, a retired interior designer from Alexandria, is one of the contestants on the new show vying to win the heart of Gerry Turner, 72.
All of the women in the show are ages 60-75. Hulkhower is a widow, her husband died in 2011.
The Alexandrian already has some fans on the Bachelor Nation Instagram page, drawing comparisons to Samantha Jones from Sex and the City.
The show debuts on ABC on Sept. 28 at 8 p.m.
