Upgrade your company’s online image while introducing your team with portraits that capture your organization’s values and mission.

Associations, law firms, nonprofits, and businesses of all sizes looking to update the images on their website, marketing, and social media platforms to a more modern and sleek design could do no better than to work with a photography studio that has legendary musicians in their portfolio. Such as? Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, Van Halen’s Sammy Hagar, and hip-hop icon CeeLo Green.

Meet the artists behind 11:44 Studios, a full-service photography studio in Old Town, Alexandria offering on-site photography services, concept planning, artistic design, mood board creation, wardrobe styling, digital asset management, retouching, image selection, and more.

Many local photographers shoot “headshots” for corporate use. Sarah Sharaf-Eldien and the team at 11:44 Studios prefer to call their work portraits, and rightly so, expressing the enhanced elements their images deliver.

Businesses, entrepreneurs, freelancers and others seeking to elevate their online and printed imagery will find 11:44 Studios’ work takes their public-facing image to new levels of polished professionalism.

“In each portrait we artistically convey as much relevant information about our subjects; hints about their character, the work they do, or the world they inhabit,” Sharaf-Eldien says, and they do so with a level of efficiency and attention to detail not normally found in corporate portrait photography.

“Sarah does an amazing job,” says Susan Cantrell, CEO of AMCP, the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, in Alexandria. “She spent two days in our office doing headshots of our staff and they are amazing. She even brought in hair and makeup artists. We are so pleased with the excellent work.”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
