The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at the Speedway gas station at 4808 King Street over the weekend.
At around 9 p.m. Saturday, a man walked into the gas station and brandished a handgun, before fleeing on foot. No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect took cash and other items, according to police.
The Speedway is located at the corner of King Street and Dawes Avenue, and is near Northern Virginia Community College and a number of apartment complexes, shops and restaurants.
The Arlington County Police Department assisted in searching for the suspect.
