The city’s second annual Chalk-A-Block festival, scheduled for Sunday, has been postponed due to wet conditions and continuing rain in the forecast.
Sarah Almy, executive director of the event, announced the postponement Sunday morning, saying “Unfortunately, due to wet pavement and continued rain in the forecast, Chalk-A-Block is postponed to our rain date.”
The community art festival has been rescheduled for its designated rain date of Sunday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The festival will take place at Salon deZEN and other sites throughout Old Town North, featuring chalk art displays and community activities.
The rescheduled Chalk-A-Block festival will maintain the same 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. timeframe when it takes place Sept. 28.
