The City of Alexandria will be conducting investigation and testing work on the streets surrounding City Hall from Nov. 13-20.
Street Closure: Nov. 10, 11, 12, and 13
N. Royal Street will be closed to all traffic between Cameron Street and King Street starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, through 7 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13. Drivers will be detoured to N. Pitt Street and N. Fairfax Street. Detour signs will be posted.

Lane Changes and No Parking: Nov. 13-20
Traffic lanes on N. Royal Street between Cameron Street and King Street will be shifted from 7 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, through Thursday, Nov. 20. Drivers should look for signs and be prepared for delays. There will be no parking allowed on N. Royal Street between Cameron and King Streets from Nov. 13-20.

Why will these streets be impacted?
Investigation and testing work to prepare for the upcoming City Hall and Market Square Renovation Project requires street closures and lane shifts around City Hall for the safety of drivers, construction workers, and pedestrians. Find out more about the renovation work at alexandriava.gov/CityHall.
