Alexandria Children’s Theatre Offers Scholarships for Winter Classes

A generous “Scholarship Angel” is supporting local children interested in acting, singing, and dancing classes with Alexandria Children’s Theatre through the ‘25-’26 school year.

Artistic Director Roberta Cullen is proud to announce that a benefactor whose grandson attended classes with Ms. Roberta and ACT when he was going through a very difficult time has offered to extend a helping hand to other families who may need support right now. Noah’s Fund will be used to cover several Winter tuitions in every class to families who reach out to ACT.

Having grown up in a difficult family situation in Appalachia, Ms. Roberta knows firsthand the benefit the arts can have for those who are going through challenging times financially. “Starting Noah’s Fund in partnership with this beloved local family will help provide creative experiences for numerous children this Winter between the ages of 4 – 12 at our Saturday classes. Being able to extend a helping hand to others, bringing some relief to parents who may have recently lost their jobs due to government shutdowns and firings, and joy to their children is a blessing!” said Ms. Roberta Cullen.

Please email [email protected] to request a short scholarship application and visit https://www.actheatre.com/  to learn more about Alexandria Children’s Theatre.

Please stay tuned for Winter class information that will be available online in early November.
