From July 1-31 we are asking for donations of non-perishable food items. This community-wide food drive is a much-needed initiative to increase the food supply in our community. Our goal is to collect 40,000 pounds of food to benefit families receiving groceries through Hunger Free Alexandria’s food pantries and the foodbank ALIVE! The donations will help maintain a healthy inventory and serve about 2,500 households. Please see the website for drop off locations.
