This November, The Study at Morrison House invite guests to turn the page on an entirely new chapter of their immersive Banned Book Speakeasy with The Restricted Collection: A Banned Book Speakeasy Series.
Taking place November 10–14, the series debuts with Volume 1: Scandal, exploring the stories that shocked, challenged, and captivated readers enough to find themselves restricted, challenged, or banned.
Upon arrival, guests will be tasked with finding the Office of Restricted Literature, the gateway to a hidden, intimate speakeasy experience inspired by challenged literature. Inside, discover literary-inspired cocktails and food, live piano music, and immersive details that bring the world of The Restricted Collection to life.
The experience also supports the literary community, with $5 from every ticket benefiting the Virginia Library Association.
Step inside, take your seat, and discover the stories that caused a scandal.
